This episode follows last week's idea and finishes this short series on financial concepts set out in the Bible.  I just hope that this gives you a small glance at how pertinent and relevant the Bible still is in our lives.

Next week we change gears. We are going to discuss accountability and one way to get some personal guidance in achieving your goals in life. Oh, and by the way, we will have a guest so be on your best behavior.

Here are this week's verses and have a great week.

Proverbs 23:3-4 says “Through wisdom is a house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

Psalms 37:21 says “the wicked borroweth, and payeth not again” and Proverbs 22:7 says “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is a servant to the lender”

Luke 12:16-21 “And He told them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man was very productive. And he began reasoning to himself, saying, what shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops? Then he said, this is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry. But God said to him, you fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared? So is the man who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

Luke 12:15 says “…Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”.

Proverbs 28:20 “The trustworthy will get a rich reward. But the person who wants to get rich quick will only get into trouble.”
